PDEs unplugged@Karlsruhe 2027
The concept of “PDEs unplugged” dates back to 2015, when our colleagues at La Sapienza University Rome initiated a unique and new format that exclusively featured blackboard talks with mobile phones, laptops etc. switched off. Inspired by the format, we hosted “PDEs unplugged” (jointly with the Department of Mathematics of the Université Libre de Bruxelles) in 2017 and “Numerics of PDEs unplugged” in 2020, both at KIT in Karlsruhe.
Format
Eight blackboard talks (45 minutes +5 minutes for questions).
