Workshop »Mesh-Free Methods for Magnetic Schrödinger-Type Equations«
This is a workshop on one of the research topics of project A7 Numerical methods for highly oscillatory problems of the CRC.
It brings together senior as well as young scientists from numerical analysis, inverse problems, and from theoretical and experimental physics. The aim is to explore how recent developments in mesh-free methods for the numerical solution of magnetic Schrödinger equations might advance research in applications from optics and structure research using electron beams.
The workshop comprises talks, a poster session, and discussion blocks in small groups to enable a strong interaction between the different fields.
This workshop is conducted jointly by the working groups of Kurt Busch (HU Berlin), Marlis Hochbruck (KIT), Christoph Koch (HU Berlin), and Caroline Lasser (TUM).
